Comments: Wheelie bags are convenient and still relatively easy to handle! None of us mind paying extra if the charges are fair and relate to all of uor equipment.

Comments: It would make it easier for passengers, airlines and baggage staff if boarders were allowed to pack everything in one wheelie bag, so long as it comes under the weight guidelines.

Comments: One wheelie bag takes up less volume than one wheelie bag and a suitcase. Why are we being penalised for being more efficient in our packing

Comments: Airlines need to accurately communicate their baggage policy and be consistent with their communications. The current policy is not workable.

Comments: theres too many differences between different airlines, and its strange that you have to take a suitcase aswell as your board bag, when its possible to gt all of your kit and clothes into the board bag, doesnt it make more sense to just carry the 1 bag

Comments: I dont mind paying the extra baggage fee, but at least allow us to use the weight limit to its potential by allowing us to put more than a snowboard and bindings in a board bag

Comments: time for a change so its more clear what we have to pay and what we can carry. Expensive equipment that could get lost is costly to replace if you loose out coz the airline has a very grey area on the policy. I dont mind paying extra aslong as Im covered.

Comments: Having recently booked a flight with BMI baby I found out that I can't pre book my snowboard onto the flight but have to get it in 'subject to availability on the flight'. This worries me a lot, I don't want to end up not being able to take my snowboard on a snowboarding holiday!

Comments: A little bit of consistency beteen airlines and flights would be nice and for the airlines to realise that the weight allowance for board bags is ridiculous. Do these people know how much a board weighs!!

Comments: Please work together where possible to eliminate the inconsistent baggage policies which add to our trip planning nightmares. It shouldn't be so difficult (or expensive) to take our snowsports kit abroad.

Comments: Ryan Air seem a particularly bad offender to me. Whilst they say in the small print on their website that their flights are inherantly unsuitable for the transportation of oversized luggage such as ski and snowboard bags, they overtly market certain flight routes at skiers and snowboarders. I would be happy to see fees stay as they are if airlines invested the difference into carbon neutrality and other activities to reverse the damage done to the environment by their flights.
