We are looking for a rewrite of the Washington State law (SSB 5340) which outlaws the online sales and delivery of tobacco products (excluding Cigars) to residents of Washington State. This law is poorly written and in its current form remains both unclear and unfair towards both pipe tobacco and shisha enthusiast alike. Our goal would be to include Pipe tobacco and Shisha orders in the list of legal items which currently includes only Cigars. we also feel that a clearer definition of the word "transport" should be provided, as at this time just driving a pack of cigarettes to a family member or friend could be considered a class C Felony.
