Name: Carolyne Fountain on Jul 24, 2007Comments: I strongly agree with Patricia! The old walkers were the best. Both my kids lived through them with no problem. My son is 26 and my daughter is 22. They do help the youngin's to strengthen their legs and walk. It is the responsibility of the adults in charge to keep an eye out for any danger.Flag

Name: ME on Mar 15, 2012Comments: baby walkers are like everything else in this world. dangerous if used incorrectly! if you watch your child while they are in the walker then the walker can be a great toy/learning tool for your baby!! the ban is ridiculous and shows how canada is simply a wimpy state!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Oct 23, 2012Comments: I just had a baby walker given to me in Portugal from a family member. My daughter loved using it while we were in Portugal. SO i was looking forward to her using it again when we arrived home. I was sent to customs regarding my baby walker- I was informed that walkers are banned in Canada- which I wasn't aware of this as I am a new mom. (And from my research Canada is the only country to have banned walkers) I understand that reasoning why it is banned but than again if walkers are banned so should 90% percent of items out there on Canadian markets. The product is not to blame for parents not watching their children and leaving doorways and stairs accessible which could lead to falls/injury and deaths. Really disappointedFlag
