Children need stability, and a safe enviroment, and i dont think jail can give her that, especially when all u hear on the news is about violence in prisons. I think she she serve the time because she done the crime, not her daughterFlag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 15, 2008Comments: Ibeliever that every mother should get to raise their own child. BUT If your going to forget about what is best for your child and start killing people then you throw that right out the door. This child deserves a normal child hood. The child did not commit a crime. Don't punish this little one by putting her in prison too. Let her live a NORMAL life.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 15, 2008Comments: It is very wrong to raise a child in prison. Isn't prison a penalty and to protect others (including children). This is inviting homeless mothers to prison. No one gave me a condominium when I needed a safe place to live with my children.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 15, 2008Comments: What is the world comming to Letting a child be raised in a prison This is totally ridiculous. No child should be raised in a prison, in an environment surrounded by harden criminals; even if it is in a condo on prison grounds. Imagine what problems that child will have later in life or what trouble this child will possibly get into because of the influence in the child's life during the most impressionable years. Instead the child should be raised by someone who will love and look out for the best interest of the child. Not by a mother who has a criminal record.Flag

Treat her as such. Let her child have a semi-normal life outside of prison. Punish the woman, NOT her child!!!!Flag
