The event is now a MARCH. The meeting place for the march is MILLBANK (this is a known meeting place and is near VICTORIA and PIMLICO stations) the time to meet is 11AM (on the 13th december) if you cant be ther on the day then release a Blue Ballon and weear a Blue Ribbon on the day. That is what is happening at the event.Baby P was a 17 month old baby boy who died on 3rd August, 2007 after suffering months of abuse inflicted on him by his mother, her boyfriend and their lodger.He was visited over 60 times during this period by various health and social workers, yet he was allowed to remain with the very people who ultimately took his life.The mother, her boyfriend and the lodger have been convicted of causing or allowing the death of a child and will be sentenced on 15th December, 2008. Baby P lived a short and miserable life and was systematically tortured neglected and abused the doctors and so called social workers saw him no less than sixty times and sent him home to die a long slow and lonely death. when he died he had 8 broken ribs a broken back, missing fingernails, the tips of some fingers were missing, multiple cuts bruises and bite marks visible for all to see. Have they learned nothing since Victoria Climbie Please lets stop this happening again and again. In memory of this baby and all the others that are still suffering lets make the people that could have saved him accountable for their gross neglect.We are calling for all health proffesionals, social workers and police officers in this case to be suitably punished. We at least would like them to lose their jobs for negligance and aiding and abetting a childs death. They had many oppotunities to protect that poor child and none of them did. They have to take the blame for some of whats happened because they were all grossly negligant which led to the poor babys death.
