Comments: I disagree with the 30day limitation as it will prevent my Mother and Father who frequently visit and stay 6months to a year to spend time with their 3 grandchildren who are American Citizens. This is an unfair policy.

Comments: other reasons in my opinion for longer stay periods are unforeseen circumstances like in my situation where I got a baby with a cheat thus grounding me and forcing me to stay longer than expected....all in the interest of my baby's health, education and well being. I would suggest that permanent residence be granted to people running through such situations probably not exactly permanent but for at least 10 to 15 years when the child can stand on his feet in which case the victim may return home or depending on the situation my be allowed to stay over if desired.

Comments: Restricting the visitors to 30 day period will adversly impact our economy in general and tourism industry in perticular . At least the people above 55 years of age should be exempted from this clause, as they are no security threat. Thanks a lot.

Comments: I disagree with the limitation of 30 day period specifically for the parents of citizens, green card holders and others on non-immigrant visas. This will impose unnecessary hassle and burden them to keep extending the visa every 30 days.

Comments: I strongly agree with the rule changed for nonimmigration categories. But it should not restrict for the parents of US citizens who visit their children and grand children. Atleast Immigration department should check the background of both the visitors and relatives here especially in case of parents they should relax the rule and admit them for 6 months stay.

Comments: Visiting united states is not a cheap thing to do ,, it's very expensive and usualy people like to come over here to spend some nice times in the summer, so 30 days is not enough, taking in concederation it takes people 2 days travelling to get here and 2 days to go back.

Comments: My father would like to visit US but NOT if the VISA is only for a month. It takes 2 weeks to get used to the new Time Zone and there would be hardly any time to visit any other place. Please reconsider this the 30 day Visitor to atleast 6 months. Thanks, Madhu
