Comments: I think this proposal is a severe restriction to visitors whose intention to visit the country extensively will be limited a great deal, the main reason being 30days in most cases is insufficient for most visitors to accomplish his/her purpose of the nature of the visit, long term effect, includes loss of revenue that would have been spent on an extended stay. Thus I highly recommend a more reasonable approach to the restriction e.g 60days. Thank You

Comments: For my old parents, it is very tough for them to stay here only for one month based on their health condition. It normally take a month for them to get used to American time, then they have to leave after suffering from time zone changes.

Comments: Dear Sir or Madam, I urge you to reconsider the proposed 30-day limit stay for B-2 visitors. Many of us have families abroad, it costs a lot of money for them to come to the States, sometimes they get to see their US relatives once in a lifetime and they want to spend as much time as possible with their families over here. This would be a huge step back for the whole world.

Comments: My parents who lead a retired life in India and come to the USA to visit us and tour the USA together will certainly find 30 days not enough. For reasons including but not limited to money, time, effort, convenience, etc., a reasonable period of stay would be anywhere between 4 and 6 months for B2 visitors.

Comments: Hi, I guess limiting our parents stay in the US on visitor's visa is not going to get the country free of terorists. On the other hand, i think it is US's policy to alieniate people who bring so much knowledge with them

Comments: 30 days is not enough especially for elder people visiting their children. Besides the age factor of these elderly people, this limitation would also adversely affect the economy reducing the flux of money which goes into entertaining these visitors by their loved ones.

Comments: Coming all the way from India takes atleast two weeks for the parents to settle down. By the time we get ready to tour around, it's time leave US. This is definitely an extreme pain to all visiting parents. Please don't implement this!
