Comments: I think representatives put alot of hard work into their downlines and deserve to keep them. To make a business viable in 6 months is very difficult . Taking away a rep's downline is wrong.

Comments: I was thrown into leadership before I was ready. I had planned to go into leadership after I had been a rep for at least a year. However, my DM signed up my best friend under me without consulting me first. I still need time to get my business up and running before I try to mentor anyone else. I do not like the fact that my best friend will roll up to a DM and no longer have an upline when my 13 campaigns is up. I honestly believe the leadership program needs to be revamped and reps should no longer be treated like they are unimportant if they choose not to go into leadership.

Comments: Please don't make Avon be cutthroat. This is a wonderful company and so many of us work so hard to make "it" happen. We can't all be these mega super star winners but we can take the steps to get there if you would stop the practice of taking away our downline. For some of us, it can be impossible to make it in 13 campaigns. Some of us work full time, single mom's, saturated communites- there are many factors to consider. I would LOVE to do leadership again- but I want to interview and groom my recruits, take real time with them- not just sign up anyone who passes by in the hopes I'll be there by Campaign 13. Thank you for thinking this over.

Comments: Changes NEED to be made! It's not good business to take away someone elses business, life is real and we all hit hard times for one reason or another. This is "our business" and it should be respected as such.

Comments: I don't believe we should be striped of our downline and our title. We don't get paid anyway if our downline doesn't produce so why strip us of our dignity by threatening us with loosing our titles. It's like we're starting all over again anyway. We can't control what other people do. All we can do is offer them the opportunity, we can't do it for them!

Comments: I had my lost my downline 3 times! It is not fair that I need to start all over again. This last time I did have 5 members & was taken away from me. I think that us leadership reps should keep all their downline reps. Please don't take any of our downline away from us that we had really work hard for.

Comments: Yes this is a devastating blow. I have had to start over twice. I just don't think it's fair to be punished because someone else doesn't run their business right. Also the economy of Michigan has people scrambling for what they call real jobs. Meaning they want to know how much they are going to bring home each week. Because they are struggling and so are their friends and families, it is hard for them to see pass this and run with the AVON vision. I am an AUL now, but it is a hard title to keep right now.

Comments: I lost mind downline about three campaigns also, that really upset me..I live in a very small town and it hard to get interested in selling. The price of gas keeps people from getting in it. As, for myself I sold over 23,000.00 of product and made 1,400.00...I am leaving Avon soon...You need to give more to you people, and not paying all the stars, commericals , and pay us.

Comments: I also believe it is unfair that we don't make any commission from our downline unless they sell at least $100 - why not $50 That's what Avon considers a "successful recruit" - and yet, it doesn't help the upline at all if their sales are under $100. I have DL who consistently have $60-95 orders, and I miss out on leadership $ as a result. :(

Comments: I don't feel that Avon sets us up to fail but I completely agree that the policy needs to be revisited. Taking away a commission is definitely motivation enough for me to try harder. I feel that after I have worked so hard in molding a downline and making them wonderful reps that it is wrong that someone else down the road would reap in the rewards of what I have accomplished.

Comments: This rule of losing your DL is the only thing that has kept me from joining the Leadership program. My DM and Upline has convinced me to join Leadership but if I lose my downline again, I will not try another time. Thank you for your time, Arthina I love Avon!

Comments: I am new to leadership and am very excited, but my first two have already fallen out, and it isn't from a lack of communicating. I have 9 but 3 aren't active. It's scary to know after all my hard work, that when life happens to people, I could lose my hard earned income and title. I think as long as someone is still with AVON they should keep their downline.

Comments: Yes, this happened to me when I worked my butt off in leadership. It is a very old-fashioned form of MLM that does not work for the average person. Most people know by now that a serious business takes over a year to get going, not 6 months. Also, not being to appoint anyone on your own for a while and having to only do it in person is very last-century. As far as I can find, Avon is the only company that doesn't allow any online recruiting. I think the pilot program is stupid, I could tell them that no rep. wants to pay $6.50 to appoint someone online, just charge the new recruit the $20. Who wants to be out $6.50 for every dud they get It's cheap enough to get into to begin with, and maybe a little more of an investment would make sure they are serious. Most places charge a whole lot more to get started. I think they should let us work at it and not punish us for getting people who turn out to not be serious.

Comments: I was ready to quit when Avon took my downline because I was so upset. I didn't! I recruited some more then asked to be relinked and I was. I do think, however, that it is wrong to take away your downline. I don't mind not getting checks if I don't meet the requirements but I really don't think that your downline should disappear. I felt like somebody stole part of me.

Comments: Avon is the only company I know of that takes away your downline if you don't have enough recruits and sales in only 6 months. Give us a break Avon! What do you lose if we don't make it Nothing. What do we lose if we don't make it Everything.

Comments: Be fair. We brought them to you, and if they are not selling as much as hoped, they are still with Avon. Commissions are based on sales, so we suffer when sales are low. Why penalize us further

Comments: I had 1/3 of my unit performing. That is typical no matter what you sell if you are doing MLM. It is the nature of the beast. I would like AVON to give reps a year to get ladies in a unit selling the numbers they want.

Comments: I just started because I heard Avon generated over $3 BILLION in sales in 2009, so they should be grateful to all salespeople, not making it difficult. It takes over a year to get a business really going, 6 months is just a baby step. In looking at my site for the just few days since I started, I'd like to see the ability to link to individual products and categories, they don't have that. A huge wealthy company SHOULD make EVERY EFFORT to make it easier for salespeople, other companies have individually coded links to each product, Avon COULD DO IT, they SHOULD DO IT. That would make a huge difference in directing customers EXACTLY to the sale products with our ID embedded in each product link. They want US to work harder, the company needs to work harder to make it easier for us to SELL MORE and MORE EASILY.
