The "Golden State", a majestic nickname that succeeds in expressing Calfornias superiority over lesser states in this great union. However the one aspect that this glorious nickname fails to shine a spotlight on is California's succulent, omnipresent, delicious, precious, and taste bud-tantalizing natural resource; the avocado. I am proposing that that California officially become the "Avocado state" or the "Golden Avocado State" either will do but we must pay homage to our most sacred of natural gifts provided by mother California!
