King Mohammed VI did not mince his words and even if he did not name them openly he held Algeria and the Polisario responsible for the persistence of the Sahara conflict.The Alawite ruler renewed, on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the Green March, his country’s willingness to carry on with the UN-sponsored negotiations, despite, he said, the desperate manoeuvres of the other parties which persist in their obstructionist schemes.He also recalled the "bold initiative" proposed by the Kingdom to grant autonomy to the Sahara, under Moroccan sovereignty.
