Name: Phuong Tran on Oct 27, 2010Comments: Dear Sirs and Madams, Firstly, I would like to introduce myself as a desperate and miserable mother of an severe autism child in Vietnam. I'm at the age down the hill and have unique son who is all of my love, but unfortunetly he's autism - the whole life disease - which goes along with all my son's life but I can't. Being in a less progress country like Vietnam where autism is fairly new and autism children and young adult are left at home with no education, intervention or training , I can't find out a public school for my son, no one pay right attention to it ! If there is a school for autism, it's only private one with no right method but too much aim of profit and always over capacity! I have been waiting at doctor's offices, asking for help from public and private schools, I have been attending so many trainings which unfortunately did not provide adequate knowledge. My son has no school to study or being correct therapy meanwhile he's now 06 years old which is nearly out of age for early intervention (about 7 years old). With all my family saving, my husband and I brought my son to US one time for disease checking and have got doctor's advice to keep my son in US for updated therapy and study. However, we had to be back due to limitation of financial budget. My son now is just like a baby of the age of 01, he has no social skill or self-help skill and also non verbal. I'm myself an orphan, no parents and no relatives around to give me a hand or encourage me on this tough road with my son, I'm extremely wretched and sometimes think of dead for both of our mom and son. I would urge to ask for help - deeply from my heart - please help my poor son, kindly help my son to have his value childhood. I can give you doctor's comments and proofs of his disease, if required. Please contact me at email : phtran1302@yahoo.com or cellphone : 84 - 909 721 941 for further information. Thank you very much for your value time to read my email. I'm looking forward to hearing from you, Best regards, Phuong TranFlag

I have feelings as humans have, needs like humans, and a voice like humans. I also don't apreciate you talking or writing about eradicating those with Autism. I also am glad to have my life, and to not have been eradicated. If you were disabled, would you want someone to eradicate you? If you have nothing positive to say about those with Autism or on the spectrum, than maybe you should say nothing at all. Everything you said about us is harmful and your intentions are evil. What you discribed as eradification of those with Autism is Genocide. I really hope you think about what kind of person you want to be. I don't want you representing me or anyone else like me if you are only out to destroy us or stop us from existing.Flag

Maybe help get them to more families, use more of your budget to helping those with autism now, not so much on research. People give money to help families with autism and provide them relieft, not for most of it to go to research and not directly to those families.Flag

Eddie Van H how may also play. My brother Larry is dying from cancer and his son Jordan has autism, so Stanley who is our friend will play for both causes. Larry started the first culinary program for autistic kids in Princeton NJ. I thought you guys might be able to help out. Stanley will be playing in NY and in Washington later this month and can play for us between March 20 - 25 so we don't have much time. Please let me know if you'd like to help KevinFlag
