Name: Dana Seilhan on Nov 30, 2011Comments: Considering that new research is linking autism with poor prenatal nutrition and that PETA *pushes* poor prenatal nutrition (as well as poor nutrition in every other stage of life), this campaign is doubly insulting. If you're not going to help prevent autism, PETA, at least have the courtesy to avoid insulting people who are born with it.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 7, 2012Comments: - Surely there are better ways to promote the ethical treatment of animals than starting this campaign. Or is this just a cynical way of gaining column inches? Either way, as current scientific knowledge denies there is a link between dairy consumption and autism, this is not going to be putting PETA in a good light, it is provocation done badly.Flag

Name: James McGinnis on Feb 7, 2012Comments: I believe that we should all be humane to animals, and if your convictions lead you to embrace a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle, there is nothing wrong with that. However, i take offense with PETA's "Got Autism" ad campaign, which exploits those on the Autism Spectrum and implies that additives to milk somehow cause this neurological condition. Reliable evidence shows that autism is likely to be of a primarily genetic origin, and that vaccines, food additives and environmental toxins are not the cause. Please stop using lies and misinformation to promote your agenda. It is not necessary, stokes fears and exploits a whole class of people. -JamesFlag
