Today, I collected my college results. Amongst them was a E for Drama. If I was autism-free, this would be fair enough. But I'm not Autism-free. I have a mild case of Autism, so aren't able to act as well as others without Autism can. This is why I believe the way examiners mark Drama at A-level is unfair. It's not my fault I have autism. It's not anyone's fault. You don't choose to have it. Therefore this should be taken into account. The fact that it isn't is wrong. We need to make a stand. We need to put a end to this way of marking. And if you sign this petition, then maybe people with Autism may stand a chance when taking Drama. The examiners need to realize that what they should be doing is marking people with Autism differently to those more capable. Signing this petition could be a big step towards the examiners taking those of us with Autism seriously. Together, we must show them the errors of their ways. Together, we can make a difference.
