Comments: Australians supporting Australian producers. I do not want to compromise our childrens health with buying cheap imports that have used chemicals that are banned in Australia while growing imported produce! That is unacceptable! Australia is able to supply our own clean, safe food! Consumers demand that!

Comments: I can't believe that the Australian government allows the importation of fruit and vegetables when we have a great source in our own country.

Comments: , the miojraty of contributions will be coming through local branches and 100% of money donated through a local branch will be spent by that local branch ? which means for Oregon, I will be on the management team that decides how to use the money. We will transfer some to the national level, to pay for the staff and to support national activities, but the intention is to build locally and let the national team act more in a support and coordination role. We?ll just have to agree to disagree about the No Labels focus ? I know what it is and what we?re doing, and while I appreciate and understand your point of view and you have some examples that do raise an eyebrow ? I think we?re sticking to our mission and will continue to do so.The communications question is bothersome. I will be following up on that with the national staff. They owe us a number of documents after the national meeting, and I?ll add the corporate docs to the list I will find out who the right person at national to respond to these requests and put you in direct contact with them. Please feel free to email me at: I appreciate your taking the time on this discussion and you have really made me think about the No Labels movement at greater depth than I had previously ? I am still passionate about being involved, and I hope over time we demonstrate that we?re really about what we say we are ? and I can promise you that I personally am

Comments: It is true that e-petitions only need to gain the aittnteon of a very small percentage of the population to reach the needed number of a 100,000 people to be considered for debate in the house of commons and it's also true that often the people who sign these petitions have very strong feeling on a subject and do not necessarily represent the feelings of the general public on a whole, but I would like to comment that in some places of the world such as Switzerland that petitions are only used to gauge if there in enough interest in a issue and if so to trigger a referendum, in which then the true feelings of the majority of are population are listened too. And if necessary to change laws that the voters do not conform to. So petitions on there own have limited use but if used in conjunction with other ways to assess public feeling they can be very powerful and give a voice to anybody and everybody that wishes to involved in there countries decision process.
