The Republicans in Congress are planning policies that will hurt Americans to pay down the US debt. But what we don;t know is how much of that debt is legitimate and how much of it has been contrived by illegal transactions. Demand that Congress form a committee to audit the US debt and publish exactly who is owed what. Some of that debt may be illegal and can be removed from the taxpayers and given to whoever is responsible for it.
