   Comments: Please don't take away one of the most funfilled family organizations out there. As a mother of a 7 year old who to date has won 51 races, this would be devastating to her and to all her competitors. I feel the people who are petitioning for this obviously have never been to an event, nor do they have a child who lives for the weekends when there is a race. As a parent I would never let my child participate in a competeition if I didn't feel they where safe, and protected. My daughter has been racing competatively for a year now, and I know that this is something that would break her spirit if she couldn't do it anymore.

   Comments: If your going to go that far, how about banning video games and cable TV for under 16 years od age. In my opinion, they do way more harm to kids then ATV's and dirt bikes. Atleast while riding, their (kids) not glued to the TV. It is a healthy form of activity. You need to look futher at statistics on what activites really kill or injury 16 yr olds and under.

    Comments: How can you try to ban the use of something by children when in fact it is safer than many other sports that we let our kids play when ever they like. Whether or not they pass this bill i will always let my kids ride atvs as long as they like.

    Comments: As a leader in ORV use and organization, I will help make youth ATV safety a top priority for Mass ATV clubs. A role model group, the 4H Club has a program in place for us already. We do not need tearful testimony to sway a parent's responsibility. It is a sad story that brought this bill into place, but in the end, it was the fault of parenting.

    Comments: House Bill 3592 is a knee jerk reaction to an unfortunate accident. I firmly believe that taking someone's licence and calling DSS is crazy. What happens if you hide the keys to your ATV, but your underage child finds them and goes for a joy ride. This bill is overkill. We need safety courses not banning their use.

    Comments: I grew up riding dirt bikes. I raced in the AHA for 7 years...between the age of 6-13. I was taught how to dressed appropriately to protect myself and how to fall off my bike during a crash. During all that time I received 1 sprained ankle. I want to be able to share the joy and responsibility of riding with my children. Please don't take that away from me.
