Hot wheels has been producing a SE (AKA 'Notchie') version of the Fiero, just one year after the Fiero was available for purchase. Since that first Fiero Hot-Wheel was released in 1985, there have been a total of 15 versions of the SE model produced by Hot Wheels.

Starting in 1986, one year after the first Fiero Hot Wheel was produced, Pontiac offered a Fastback version of the Fiero. Hot Wheels has yet to this day, 27 years later, reproduce a Fastback Fiero in their line up.

The closest thing to a Fastback Fiero was the "Sting Rod" originally released in 1993, for the 'Tattoo Machines' series. The "Sting Rod" was originally released in 3 colors, olive green, tan and a metal flake gray. Though the basic shape of a Fiero fastback is there, it is covered in armor, and a gun turret. Please consider making a production style 1986 ~ 1988 Fastback Fiero for all of us collectors out there! Thank you, The Fiero Community
