With Stargate Atlantis coming to a close and the movies greenlit, many of us have discussed the hopes of getting a movie solely surrounding the original Atlantis Family -- John, Elizabeth, Carson, Teyla, Ronon, and Rodney, in addition to other memorable recurring characters in the first three seasons such as Zelenka. This cast of characters really established themselves as a family in the second and third season with their excellent dynamic, and many of us were shocked and displeased at TPTB's act of tearing them apart. Now, with the last season wrapping up production and movies in the future, it has been discussed that we start a campaign to make an Atlantis Family-centric movie and bring them together once again. In short, he goal of this campaign is to bring the family together again -- including Carson Beckett (Paul McGillion) and Elizabeth Weir (Torri Higginson), in addition to offering some sense of closure (a happy ending) to the Elizabeth storyline. Many want to see Torri as Elizabeth again, and I am hoping this will offer the closute Ghost in the Machine did not. With respect to Torri, of course, we wil respect her decision if she declines the role, and it has been discussed that Michelle Morgan reprising her role would also be an option. With the movies being planned any minute now and the series ending, there is no better time than NOW to speak up and voice our opinions to the Powers That Be on how much we want to see the 'Atlantis Family' come together once again. Let them know how much you enjoyed the dynamic of the characters in seasons one thru three. Show your support for the cast members and this campaign.
