Sayın Yetkilinin dikkatine,
İstanbul İli çevresinde yeralan tenis kortlarının dağılımları yerleşimleri açısından incelendiğinde bu kortların, İstanbul' un büyük ve hızla gelişmekte olan mahallelerinden biri olan İçerenköy civarının dışında konumlandıkları görülmektedir.
İstanbul İli genelinde olduğu gibi İçerenköy Mahallesi' nde artan yapılaşma nedeniyle oluşan nüfus artışı, kent ve mahalle yaşayanlarının sosyal tesislere olan ihtiyacını da beraberinde getirmektedir.
Ataşehir İlçesi kapsamında az sayıda bulunan tenis kortlarının çoğu özel kurum ve sitelere ait olmakla beraber halka açık olan tenis kortları için Ataşehir Belediyesi' nin resmi bir envanter kaydı bulunmamakla birlikte bilinen sayısı bir veya ikiyi geçmemektedir.
Mevcut halka açık ücretsiz kortlar ise mahalle nüfusunun yoğunlaştığı merkezlerden uzak olmakla beraber, bu kortlar genel nüfusun ulaşımı açısından zorluk yaratmaktadır.
Gelecekte, Türk tenis sporunun daha ileri hedeflere ulaşabilmesi için tenis kültürünün toplumun geniş kesimlerine aşılamak, tenis sporunun bilinenin ve alışılagelmişin aksine sosyo-ekonomik statü açısından üst gelir seviyesine ait sınıfların yanısıra aynı zamanda orta ve alt gelir sınıflarının ilgisine açabilmek, bu tipte halka açık tenis kortları için geliştirilen projeleri hayata geçirebilmek, onları halkla buluşturmak, devamlılığını ve yaygınlığını arttırmak hayati önem taşımaktadır.
Mahalle ve tüm kent yaşayanlarının bu ihtiyacına büyük bir ihtiyat ve özenle yaklaşacağınıza, mahallenin ve kentin tenis severleri olarak kesin bir inanç taşımaktayız.

To whom it may concern,
If the tennis courts, in Istanbul, are inspected in terms of their locations it is obviously seen that most of them are already placed out of the border of Icerenkoy which is one of the biggest and developing district at a great pace in Istanbul.
As it happens all around the city of Istanbul, booming of the population in Icerenkoy brings along the need of new social facilities that are highly demanded by fellow citizens.
Since very little amount of tennis courts throughout the Atasehir belong to the special clubs and foundations they are either close to usage of public or stipendiary; so they are not easily accessible to public. Beside there is no officially detected numerical recording regarding these open to public pitches, as known, their numbers are not more than one or two. On the other hand, already existing open to public pitches are both located on the regions that are far from the center of district on which highest rate of the public are living and not easily reachable.
In close future, instilling the tennis culture into vessel of the public, as opposed to the well-known and ordinary perspective that is the tennis is just only open to the classes, belonging to the higher socioeconomic income level, opening that sport also to the interest of middle and lower income classes, making that kind of projects happen for that open to public concept and bringing them together with public, providing a sound bridge between courts and their lovers and increasing courts' continues and prevalence on the ground have a crucial significance in order to be able to reach more advance levels in Turkish tennis history.
As a big tennis community that live on this district and province, we have full confidence and faith in you that you are going to implement a great discretion and care for new projects pertaining to that open to public concept. We all recognize the support which you have always shown to your citizens and write this petition with this respect in mind.
