The residents of Benson Manor have no choice for cable service other than Charter Communications. We don't think it's fair that Charter is the only cable service in our community. We believe that the excessive fees and high rates charged by Charter is the direct result of having no competition. The following are come of our complaints: 1. Too few channels on the basic channels; periodically, channels dropped (channels 12,17,18 for example) 2. The cost is too high. 3. Charter technicians have been known to cut lines in order to come back. 4. Cable boxes located outside on each end of the building are not locked and open to the public. 5. Technicians don't appear to have adequate training. What is the hiring process and why do we need their personal phone numbers. 6. Promotional locked-in fees are not locked in. 7. Customer Service is rude and does not speak or understand English; long hold times. 8. Charter slows up the internet when customer is past due.
