Astronomical Exploration and Experimentation The objective of question and doubt is the source of all knowledge and progression that our world co-inhabits to this day. This objective has shaped history, in particular that of astronomy. Scientists all over the world have used this objective and have created the most stellar physical laws known. Much of what we know today is derived from space missions. The doubt that created the exuberance to leap into the night sky stands reason for the luxuries of today’s society. Nothing could thrive without space exploration and experimentation; it is vital, therefore so is its funding. Astronomical exploration and experimentation builds the economy, it protects national security, develops technology, creates jobs, conveys ancient history, offers substantial Intel of inner and outer atmospheric weather protection and even touches humanity’s general purpose of bringing together all life. The problem is the largest space corporation is plummeting into the ground because of our federal government. NASA’s (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) funding is suffering large funding and tax cuts. The chief matter is the corporation of NASA requires an abundance of capital, due to the circumstance that space study and experimentation is costly. To further emphasize the order in which all advantages are related, our economic stability embodies a range of pillars: the jobs that keep us afloat, the technology that supports our luxurious living habits and majorly, national security; in which the ongoing study and enhancement of technology is a necessity. To be included in that security, outer atmospheric surveillance preserves our planet Earth to be protected from astronomical disaster. The concern is without proper funding for this nation’s number one space corporation, NASA, it lacks full possible potential, and therefore it cannot promise full intelligence of the protection of the planet we call home. For example, cutting-edge astronomical technology in our outer atmosphere, can survey the sky and distant depths of the universe to detect any potential dangers from entering our atmosphere. However, without the proper funding, NASA fails to attain the needed technology and therefore fails to serve and protect our home. The history of NASA sets the stage and perfects examples revealing astronomical advances in technology in a very short period of time. Computers that once filled an entire room were transformed into a chip no bigger than a finger nail. NASA holds the responsibility of this evolution, for missions to space wouldn’t be conceivable without further efficient technology. This technology is now used generously throughout society, and this was just the beginning. Continuing to revolutionize humanity’s way of living, astronauts aboard the ISS, (International Space Station) floating in atmospheric orbit above Earth, endeavor many researches to improve our economy and energy expenditures as well as health preservation. Technology and experimentation utilized aboard the ISS provides knowledge for advancements on Earth. This technology includes air purifiers, robotics, and even correlating into experimentation with resistance devices to countermeasure against musculoskeletal degradation caused by micro-gravity. Experiments and technology such as this improve our health standards day to day here on Earth. If anything NASA’s funding should be doubled, not cut. For NASA has supported our economic growth for several decades. Space exploration and experimentation should be honored and rewarded for its abundantly countless successes. Results from complications in space solve problems on Earth. Exploration is evolving to promote better and more efficient ways of living. It is NASA who has supported the shoulders of this profound nation and allowed the opportunity to stand on the shoulders of giants.
