Comments: So I guess Harris County Commissioners Court is tired of seeing that building standing. Well I'm not. That building has been standing tall since before I was born and I will love to see it standing tall for my kids one day to see it. The Astrodome has been the center of attention for many shows over the decades. Keep the stadium standing tall. Although it may not seem nothing to Harris County, it does mean something to us Houstonians.

Comments: My father worked there when it was built and became Ticket Manager. As a young kid I remember going to ALL events. The Astrodome was my 2nd home. It hold a lot of fond memories. I would hate to see it destroyed.

Comments: We should do whatever is necessary to save the Astrodome. Day after day we watch our landmarks and history being destroyed. I'm all for progress and new construction, but we have to balance growth with conservation.

Comments: The Astrodome or Harris County Domed Stadium as it is called should definitely be preserved in some historical fashion as it is a huge piece or our city and state's history. If you tear it down you may as well tear down the Alamo too! Save the Dome!

Comments: The Astrodome is Houston's Eiffel Tower, our Golden Gate Bridge. We must preserve it for the future by giving it new life as a first-class, year-round attraction for the city.
