We MUST respect our history. I saw Elvis Presley perform there! Come on! |

and it would be a shame to tear it down when it could be utilized for so many uses. |

| 3026 | Anonymous | Please come up with a way to save the Dome! It is a unique structure of historical significance. Just being the place where Earl Campbell played pro football should be enough reason to preserve the DOME! |

| 3031 | Roel Ruiz | I had the opportunity to enjoy the astro dome as a teenager and know it saddens me to know it would one day be gone. I a child was not a Houstonian, but frequent visits to Houston from Laredo to see the Oilers and the Astros play, made me fall in love with this city and the Dome. I now live in Houston and continue to play baseball in adult baseball leagues like the MABL an adult baseball league in over 20 states, local leagues as the Liga Obrera that has over 50 teams from ages 18 and up, and a newly grown league the Texas Coastal League where young 18 and up players from North America and Central America come to Houston to play. I purpose to give life to the Dome and let us play in the Dome as each league has four seasons each, spring, summer, fall and winter and we can bring in at least 1,000,000.00 dlrs in league fees to help keep the Dome a year. So not only am I purposing to keep the dome, but to actually bring money back to the community and tax payers. |

| 3036 | Cheryl Quinn | This is not only a Houston treasure but a state and national architectural treasure. Not only that but an entire generation of Houstonians such as myself treasure the memories generated inside that dome! The current plan to redevelop it respects the history. The Livestock Show & Rodeo and the Texans got what they wanted, a new venue. Let the Astrodome become a viable part of the complex! |

Houston has nothing that is appealing to draw visitors to our city.
Please do not demolish this historic landmark.
