| 2851 | Anonymous | My first trip to Houston when I was 7 was to the new Astrodome. We took the official tour. I wish I still had my wax bank from then. I have attended everything from football, to my own high school playoffs there. It would be a shame to tear it down as they did Astroworld. I was at the last playoff game the Astros had there against the Braves and will never forget it. |

| 2870 | Charles Celestine | As a Realtor here in town it bothers me to see Houston's architectural history fade away. Distinctive architecture is what makes a city special and Houston is not doing enough to save it's landmarks. |

| 2877 | cheryl | Please do not destroy this icon of sports history. My mother was in Diagnostic Clinic in 1966 and on looking out the window, I cuold see the lights on top of the dome. So many memories flood my mind on view of the site. It should deserve a historical marker. Please discuss all options. |

SAVE THE ASTRODOME!!!!!! |
| 2879 | Jaclyn Suffel | Some of my most exciting childhood memories are going to Astros games and watching Bagwell and Biggio.
I honestly think you all should turn it into a Houston Sports Hall of Fame, but chances are you will just tear it down like everything else beautiful in Houston. |
