| 2765 | Maggie Haun | Standing on the floor of the Dome during a recent rodeo trip (it now holds a smaller stage and bar) was an awesome experience. Thinking of all the people who stood there before me gave me a great feeling. Please keep our Astrodome in such a way as to allow my children and their children to stand in that same spot and not think,"what a crappy mall!" |

| 2791 | Jeff Miller | The Dome is OUR Statue of Liberty, OUR Gateway Arch, OUR Golden Gate Bridge, OUR Hollywood Sign. It belongs to the people of Houston, and is as much a part of our heritage over the past 40+ years as humidity and mosquitoes. For God's sake, I can't believe that this is even an issue. The Astrodome should live forever. |

| 2795 | Patrick | In my 25 years in the Houston area I've sadly never been inside the Dome. It would be a shame if I never got the chance. With all the effort and history invested in this monument, I'd say it qualifies for preservation. |

| 2797 | Malcolm Campbell | Certainly, Houston can find an appropriate use for the 8th wonder of the world that keeps it whole and intact as a stadium rather than destroyed through "redevelopment" (municipal vandalism).
As the chair of a historic preservation commission, I think Houston can find a way to step up to the plate with a plan that is proactive even though, insofar as the Astrodome is concerned, nobody has quite figured out a way to hit one out of the park.
