(Bob) Smith and Judge Hofheinz had the courage and the imagination to take on the risks of building the first MLB indoor stadium with technology never used before on such a scale. The "Dome" proclaimed to the world that no matter how crazy your idea might sound, there were people in this city who wanted to give your dream a fair hearing. Not being able to find a good use for the Dome will tell the world something different. |

| 2648 | Larry | Thank you for providing this avenue of disposition to the further use of the Astrodome.
This historic building should become home to the Houston Dynamo.
With interior renovations, rectractable roof (Roger's Centre or SkyDome built 1989 old technology but there are other geometric solutions to open the Astrodome roof and keep it's structural integrity) with StrathAyr Turf like the Reliant Center. The Dynamo Dome could host numerous other sporting events and Concerts.
Keep football in one area, get more for your money and quit using a trolley car mentality when designing this City. |

| 2650 | Stacey | This is apart of the History of Houston!
I also, like many others, saw my first pro baseball game there. I had so much fun!
We may not all have many great memories of this great place, but just knowing that it's right here in Houston is something we all enjoy talking about! |
