ASPARTAME is both toxic and addictive and needs to be taken out of the general public food stream. I have several health issues and hopefully in time, they will dissipate. This whole aspartame poisoning is a travesty to the human race. Get it off the shelves as the same as cyclamates were removed in the 60's.Flag

When the doctors could never figure out what was making me have dizzy spells, heart palpitations, severe pains and losing feeling in my arms and legs , as well as migranines, and a few other probelms to personal to discuss...then I talked to a good freind that had gone thru the same thing and told me what was causing it. Since then I have completely stopped using anything with aspertaine in it and magority of my health problems have either dissapeared like magic or are slowly getting better. Now I am off of the dozens of pills that I had to take several times a day and feeling better than I have in years! I wish with all of my heart that this chemical that every one is poisoning themselves with in the interest of trying to lose weight would be banned from our lives.Flag

My eyelids swelled, my BP jumped up and down like a rubber ball as did my shoulder muscles. My eyes would turn bright red and water would pour out of them. I am now extremely sensitive to chemicals because aspartame poisoned my central nervous system. It would be great to again be able to trust my government to protect me from harmful toxicants. Just ask (if any are still alive) about the six thousand plus troops that came back from Desert Storm that died mysteriously from an unknown illness (or so they say the news media) which by the way was hardly ever made public. The many troops over there were given diet softdrinks after it sat in the heat for days. Did I hear anyone say not to cut the hand that feeds you!!! Do yourself a favor and talk to any Desert Storm veteran that is still alive about this travesty.Flag
