Hi, I am a sound engineer, a married man, and a supporter of health care reform. I also support a womans' right to choose what health care she wants to have, independently of where she works, who her significant other may be, and which beliefs she may have. As a sound engineer, I sometimes work with the very same model of microphone that Mr. Rush Limbaugh has used for many years. This is called a Sennheiser RE20 microphone. Mr. Limbaughs' was specially painted gold. You see it anytime Mr. Limbaugh is on the news, on his show, pretty much any time he is working. After Mr. Limbaughs' latest tirade ahainst women and their right to choose, where he directed insults at one particular woman, Ms. Sandra Fluke, a horrible thing happens to me: every single time I see a Sennheiser RE20 microphone, I am overcome with a repulsive emotion, which causes me to use a different microphone, sometimes at the detriment of the quality of my work. This is why I am writing Sennheiser so that they consider removing that microphone from in front of Mr. Limbaugh. I do not want more engineers to possibly have to feel the same traumatic emotions when using or seeing this excellent microphone, which is ubiquitous in the radio and recording industry. To me, the golden RE20 mic that Mr. Limbaugh is now using, has now become a symbol in my mind, of hatred towards women. And I know that I should not allow that to happen. But to me, it has. So, I ask you, Sennheiser Corporation, to please consider takng away this microphone from in front of Mr. Limbaugh.
