The Tea Party movement enabled the republican party to reclaim the house of representatives. John Boehner rode that wave to the seat of speaker of the house and thus far has squandered a significant opportunity in history. We, the men and women who have signed this petition, ask Mr. Boehner to step down from his position as Speaker of the house since he lacks either the conviction to stand for conservative principles or the intellect to under stand them. We desire a strong and principled man or woman step up and be voted speaker of the house by a majority. As the speaker of the house does not have to be a member of congress, we call upon Ron Paul of Texas to step to the challenge to provide real leadership for the house of representatives.
