Companies have been advertising and promoting fibre optic broadband for some time, yet all have failed to deliver on their promises and even today fibre optics are available to a very small percentage of the UK population. The Bearsden & Milngavie exchange is old, and as such only provides ASDL internet. Home and business owners pay Broadban suppliers for broadband internet but can we really call these speeds experienced as being broadband? Please sign this petition to get BT (openreach) to upgrade the exchanges in the are so that all homes and businesses around can be provided with a quality Internet connection service demanded by a 21st century society.
