256 Morgan OstertagAs a resident of Asheville, NC I do feel strongly about saving our slopes. I would never have known about this petition if it hadn't been advertised. I want to thank those putting forth the effort to save our beautiful mountains.
257 JessicaI don't want our beautiful mountians to be lost in this sea of construction that seems to be consuming the world. STOP THIS MADNESS!!!!

265 James SaneI don't think there's any chance of stopping this. I'm angry that for the benefit of a few the majority must pay. I'd be interested to know what money changes hands to enable these developers to get their way. For God's sake where are you people that should be signing this petition. It will take more than a few signatures to stop this. We need to raise hell. We need some explanations. I want to kick some ass.

269 Chris ManheimPlease don't allow developers to destroy the beauty that brought us to the western North Carolina mountains. To do that is to undermine the tourist trade that supports this area. Once the mountains are gone, so is our economic future.

274 Eleanor RasmussenWe already have ridgetops destroyed for corporate landing strips and houses slipping down slopes! What does it take to get your attention? Why come here then?

277 mauWe're finally creating essential protective legislation for our beautiful mountains! (e.g., steep slope laws & more). Let's make sure these laws actually protect the land! (i.e., Just say no to 40%)

280 Kelly M SimpsonGrowing up in Asheville, North Carolina, you find yourself telling stories about the town and surrounding area, but you cannot tell a story without mentioning the beautiful mountains. You see, when I was about 5 years old, my mother, Betty Gay Merideth, sold the Blue Ridge Mountains to me, for a nickle, and now, my mountains are being destroyed by money hungry developers from NO WHERE NEAR HERE! So, go back to where you came from and tear up your own landscapes. KMSimpson
281 AnonymousThey are making Asheville hot, noisy and unhealthy.Stop the Madness! Stop Asheville from running amok! With the human waste on our downtown streets and nowhere left to go because our trees and mountains are being decimated and animal habitats are being destroyed but yet citizens get angry because suddenly there's a bear a beaver a groundhog or possum in their area-well what the heck are they supposed to do? Rent a condo? This place sucks now. For animals AND people. Keep it cool and green, Asheville-they'd rather have the filthy lucre green I guess.

296 AnonymousI never heard of this until I moved to Kentucky and I am so mad that they even do that in NC.
297 buy propeciaIn clinical studies, single doses of finasteride up to 400 mg and multiple doses of propecia up to 80 mg/day for three months did not result in side effects.
298 Christopher ScanzoniWe elected Democrats to City Council for a reason. Don't be just another bunch of spineless politicians.
299 Trevor JohnsonAs a future student of App State University, and a citizen in a community that is demolishing mountain-sides one by one, I believe strongly in the moratorium and save our slopes actions.
300 Edward BrownI recently visited Asheville as we are looking to move in the future and heard so many great. However when we got there we were a bit disappointed by the ridge tops covered by houses. It was pretty ugly. I think we still might move down - but we had always planned on living more in tune with the surrondings - rather then overwhelming them. So for what it is worth from someone outside of asheville - please stop the over development and keep it sensible and scenic. Thanks.
