Emily Jolley | Nathan Ramsey is using his power as a commissioner to further his own greedy interests. Fairview is beautiful and desired because of the local landscape and developing it all would take away much of that beauty and charm. Don't destroy our slopes just to further monetary desires!

Lisa Hawkins | I am a native and these mountains are like my family I LOVE them!!! I've lived elsewhere and I always want to come back to these mountains. They are OLD and Majestic and I cannot see why anyone would want to chop them up or cut the tops of them off. You can go back. Are we sure we want to do what everyone else is doing? Then what will make Asheville / WNC unique? Then what well be like everyone else overcrowded! Lets Keep our Old fabulous Mountains so that EVERYONE can enjoy them not just the wealthy that want to own them! and take them away!

Bonnie L. Bellows | There is no work more important than this and action must be swift. We have already lost way too much of the beauties of WNC to corporate greed and powers that win through money.

Will Stephens | What "beautiful?" mountain view is left when all you see are stupid houses two feet apart up and down the moutains???!!!!! We can't make more land.
Brian Stephens | We don't need any more places to shop! Please get greedy people off the mountains. God's beauty is being destroyed! Houses covering up mountains ARE NOT better looking than beautiful mountains.
LEIGH SCHULLER |
Lei Vice | The very reason people are moving here is being destroyed right before our eyes and alot of people don't even bat an eye! MONEY$$$$ That's all they seem to see or care about. It's obvious the developers don't live here. It's crazy to me when people that were born and raised here can no longer afford to live here.

Mark Blackmon |
Joyce E. Hunter | The houses they are building are too big and close together. The owners may have a good view from the mountains, but the view looking up at the mountains is horrible.
Anonymous | no more gated communities, which segregate wealthy out-of-state home buyers from the local population... im sick of seeing multi-million dollar homes that are occupied less than 6 months out of the year! enough is enough
Jonathan Poland |
Rebecca Ann Robertson | now ,more thaneverbefore, we must be diligent in saving our trees
William Doubraski | One of the most outstanding aspects of living in this area is the natural beauty. Commerce is necessary, but we cannot afford to sacrifice the resource that drives people to live and visit our area, the natural beauty. Please preserve it.

bernard b carman | i'm somewhat surprised that even the greedy developers want to allow our mountains to be destroyed. don't they realize property values will plummit if this continues to happen? one of the primary reasons why people come to live here is because of the mountains!
Anonymous | Massive development by groups that have no connection or ties to our region are rapidly destroying the natural beauty of our area> I am not against development< but it must be done in a much more ecological and responsible manner than is currently being practiced>
