AS Roma was established in 1927. Seasons have featured thrilling moments, heartbreak, triumphant passion and utter euphoria. Many of these memories have been forgotten; lost in time. Whether it's Totti's debut, Montella's demolition of Lazio, Ancelotti embracing Ago against Torino, the Scudetto match against Parma in 2001, all of these snippets and more are left to pictures and fleeting glimpses. Lost is the buildup, the roar of the tifosi, the terrace chants, the Ultras turning the Curva into a living fireball and all the little things to remind us that Roma existed in spectacular fashion before some of us were able to comprehend the beauty that is Roma calcio.

Most of us can only hope to relive these cherished memories through verbal accounts on a message board, grainy highlights on YouTube or brief snippets posted on social media directly from the club itself. Many Romanisti must resort to less than legal means in their quest to be able to relive a fraction of these fond recollections.

The intention of this petition is to inform AS Roma of the consumer demand for such matches to be made available through iTunes or any other distribution means. Major League Baseball does a nice job making some games available to their fans for digital purchase through iTunes.

We Romanisti would like to see the same thing implemented for AS Roma matches. We do understand that for contractual reasons, not ALL matches can be made available for purchase. We supporters would like the ability to access full matches throughout Roma's long history for a respectable fee.

AS Roma is attempting to create a larger presence world-wide. What a better way to help establish a global brand than by showcasing historical matches and players to the general public that would eventually fade with time? Help players like Pruzzo, Aldair, Conti, Ago, Totti, Falcao, Cafu, Voller and many, many others live on forever in our hearts and minds.
