The purpose of this petition is to gain Aryel Bryant as the danceline's captain of the Savannah State University Marching Band because she has the experience no one else has gained. Bryant is a punctual person who is very well organized and can lead without taking the power to her head. She has the experience and history, not only as a dancer and captain, but with the team and the marching band. She understands the ins and outs of being a captain and a dancer as well as looking out for the team and the marching band's best interest. From pushing the team to get the dance and techniques correct, to making sure our uniforms, grades, and issues are perfect and presentable. Bryant has knowledge and capability of being more than a captain. She is a prime example of someone who sacrafices for the team, giving all time, blood, sweat, and tears. In actuality, she is the team's captain, coach, and sister because she knows when and how to turn on and off all three titles. She is someone who holds great standards of what it takes to be a leader.
