Comments: It's definitely too crowded to allow for safe pedestrian flow, the cars are turning on yellow and red lights, just as the streets begin to fill with people stepping into the crosswalk. It's a great venue, but you have to accommodate in the summer months for such an overflow of people.

Comments: Given the opportunity, angelinos can become less reliant on cars. Tradegies like this are wake up calls and great windows for change.

Comments: This is an excellent cultural event, however, the large number of people on narrow sidewalks seriously detracts from the overall enjoyment of art walk. Closing at least a few streets in the vicinity would really help to reduce the overcrowding.

Comments: This was so scary - we were seconds away from the area. It sounded so horrible and at first, people thought it was a gunshot. The streets should be closed - it is safer for drivers and pedestrians this way.

Comments: I live in nearby Angeleno Heights and gladly take the bus downtown for Art Walk. Except for public transit, all other automobiles should be kept out of the area. The use of public transit needs to be encouraged downtown anyway.
