Name: Darin Senestraro on Jul 25, 2011Comments: I live at 7th & Spring and must park by entering on Spring between 6th & &7th. But I'm willing to put up with a small inconvenience one night/month to ensure a safer art walk. I've been saying for over two years that serious accidents downtown were inevitable. Now it's happened. We need this street closure to make it less likely to happen again.Flag

Name: Sarah Liscano on Jul 26, 2011Comments: I agree, the streets should b closed to cars on art walk nights. The scene draws way too many people. I have been the pasenger a few times and the driver was very flustered and frustrated that pedestrians don't watch where their walking and inturn drivers are not paying attention whete they are driving. Too many distractions on that street on art walk nights. Close the streets down to cars. Maybe more ppl will take the trainFlag

Name: Selena Georgianna on Jul 26, 2011Comments: i am a resident of DTLA and if for one night out of the month the streets need to be closed i am for it. i live on 5th and spring and i dont mind. maybe artwalk needs to get together and designate a drop off area for people who are participating in the art walk on 2nd and 8th. and only allow residents with valid identification in the closed area. i think that is only fair. because sometimes i dont participate in artwalk and just want to be home. so to accomidate the thousands of people who come to art walk and the residents who live there, close the streets but only let the residents with proof of residency in with a vehicle.Flag
