This petition is for Ely Memorial Highschool to invest in an Art Program. Since I've arrived to this school two years ago we did not have a Art class or any creative outlet. My younger sister has told me she doesn't want to go to Highschool because there is no Art class. Art is a way to express yourself, it is a beautiful thing and can help students that want to become an artist work on their skills. I think many more students would enjoy coming to school knowing that they have that option to have an hour a day of doing arts and crafts. There may not be many students that enjoy this activity but we can not forget about the ones that do. Ely Highschool is trying to get an Art Program for next year and I will be a senior and would like the program to last even while I'm out of school. I believe it will help students find a unique and creative way to express their feelings
