Name: Jane Schaller on Jul 11, 2007Comments: 12 years ago on this day, the Professor of Pediatrics and the head of the Children's Hospital of the University of Sarajevo was my house guest in Boston, recovering from surgery which removed a bullet deposited in her chest by a Sarajevo sniper. We watched e-mail and took phone calls with horror from friends in Tuzla who recounted day by day that only women and girls were making their way to relative safety in Tuzla--few or no men or boys accompanied them. We all knew what had already happened to the men and boys, although the world did not admit this for some time. Seeing this tragedy unfolding and being helpless to change it was a terrible experience which still makes me sick . It is inexcusable that Karadzic and Mladic remain free after all these years. The United States and Canada and all countries with any sense of decency and justice should insist that they be apprehended and charged now..Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jul 11, 2007Comments: I hate the trend that seems to be the norm today- ignore the facts as to what causes such pain and suffering, and then make noise after the fact, or during the fact without raising a finger- when are we going to be able to act, without just the speeches that we seem to be good at Rwanda, Congo, Darfur, Northern Uganda- we sit back and do nothing! Get these main and put them away from society- the less evil we have travelling the globe, the better a chance the world stands at sanity.Flag

Name: Neshad Asllani on Jul 11, 2007Comments: Peace is not possible without Justice So much pain and suffering in the entire Balkans because of three criminals Milosevic, Karadzic and Mladic but not only from them. Serbs have to make their criminals and crimes visible. Reconciliation is not possible. Serbs have to be aware of their crimes and understand, that they are responsible for the wars in the Balkans. USA President George W. Bush, can assure peace in the region without negotiating with perpetrators. Kosovars have historically been bargaining chip for concessions, we do hope it will not happened again. Never Again. Neshad Asllani, HR activist, Peja, KosovaFlag
