Since the implementation of a no-fly zone in Libya, Coalition forces have carried out numerous air strikes on Colonel Gaddafi,s air defences, command and control centres and ammunition dumps. Now the air defences have been severaly disabled, planes can now longer attack civilans from the air. But the situation on the ground for the rebels is getting worse, because they are defending themselves against Gaddafi,s ground forces with weapons that are no match to tanks, anti-aircraft guns and artillery.
