Comments: As a resident of Goodyear my voice fell on deaf ears. I understand that I don't have the backing of a large housing/land developer, but I do vote. It's sad when 300 people can decide what the West Valley can have for entertainment. Just goes to show that unless you rub shoulders with politicians you don't count.

Comments: its illegal to speed on public roads, its illegal to race on public roads, and its illegal to do almost anything people go to AMP for on the road. Now you want to close the park down. If you want to close the park how about making speeding, exhibition of speed, waste of finite resources, street racing legal Where else are people supposed to go If a person buys a house or opens a business next to an international airport and complain about noise are you going to close the airport Just pause a second, forget about money and actually think about what your doing.

Comments: This place is a convenience to many more people than the vocal minority which considers it a nuisance. With the elimination of such places, and the 'anywhere but near me' attitude many residents have, the real value of this center to the community is often unexplored. In reality, if enthusiasts are racing at AMP they're not doing it on the street.

Comments: From what I have read the reasoning for shutting down AMP was noise. This is absolutly rediculous as they limit the volume of the race cars to 103db (as of the last time I was there) and it is right next to Luke AFB which makes much more noise by far.
