1703 AnonymousAnonymousAZUSWe really could use another track besides Firebird for motorcycle riders that want a safe environment to build their riding skills.
1704 ERICPEARSONAZUSTrack facilities such as these dont come around very often. Encouraging young riders to get on the track helps save lives and stop reckless riding on the streets.
1705 JasonFloorAZUSThe closure of this track only forces racing onto open streets....

1712 JoshWeberPAUSThe revoking of Arizona Motorsports Park’s operating permit is just awful. From my understanding, the permit was granted only a few years ago? Considering motorsport parks require a significant investment, the actions Maricopa County set a VERY bad precedence for the future of motorsports in our country. This event is significant! It will be very difficult to justify motorsport parks as a business plan in light of these actions. Quite simply, this goes against everything that is American. Just a tragedy.

1727 DanMattioliAZUSThis deserves a fair and equal vote. Decisions such as this should not be committed in a vacuum without the opinion of the public which this ruling was originally designed to protect. Let the public choose and help stimulate the struggling economy.

1732 AnonymousAnonymousAZUSI think if the state or county got involved in running or managing it, it would be a good thing, just like city supported skate parks. it could be profitable for the state or county, and it would help in getting motorcycle riders to ride aggressive in a controlled enviornment and not on our city streets or freeways
1733 AnonymousAnonymousAZUSI ride CCS and on the street we need this.

1740 ChristopherCantileAZUSI currently have to trailer my bike to Firebird Raceway (quite a distance) just to ride in a safe environment. The track is to say the least not up to par. Viewing past videos and comments on websites PIR used to be a very clean and SAFE environment to race, not to mention a much longer course. The ammount of business and attention Firebird Raceway attracts is impressive, I could not imagine the possibilities if PIR was to re-open due to the bike and automobile culture here in the west valley alone. Being the location is right next to the base I do not see any reason for noise complaints. I live in Surprise AZ and and the flight patterns of the jets still rattles my windows from time to time, an internal combustion engine or even a few on a race day is not even comparable.
