The street is no place to explore the envelope of one's motorcycle and without a decent facility like AMP to do this young riders will continue to be injured and killed.
How the noise issue is an "unworkable" problem when AMP is next door to an Air Force base that 5+ days a week is flying aircraft with afterburning engines is beyond me - these are probably the same people who move to the area after the base has already been there for 50 years and then make complaints about the jet noise. If you are one of these people - please, let them re-open the track - racing is really an awesome sport to watch - try going down to the track one day, you'd probably end up liking it! |

Us motorcyclists need a safe place to ride, If you don't want bikers creating trouble on the streets, provide them a place to ride. The only place we have of right now is Firebird raceway, which is in HORRIBLE condition for motorcycles.
