Comments: I visited Arduaine Garden some years ago, and found it fascinating. It was be a disaster for gardeners if it were closed to the public. Presumably if it is closed, there would still be some maintenance, so it could be reopened. But so much might be lost. National Trust for Scotland reconsider please!

Comments: It is a disgrace the NTS want to shut Arduaine. It is of international importance and must remain open to the public. NTS should get their house in order first before making rash decisions.

Comments: NTS need to realise its not all about castles and theme parks like Burns Museum, gardens get the highest percentage of return visits for members, surely they should be building on that fact not destroying it! Ardunie needs to be open.

Comments: Having visited the garden regularly 2 or 3 times a year since 1972 we consider it to be a shame that all the hard work that has been put in by the Wright Brothers and Maurice Wilkins over the years, should not be allowed to go to waste and the gardens deteriorate.

Comments: Well done NTS, you have now made the right decision to keep this wonderful garden open, thank you. This is one of the best gardens in Argyll and it would have been a tragedy to let this garden close for the sake of a few lean years with the finances. I hope this reprieve allows you to re-align the finances to support this garden indefinitely for future generations.
