To the NRL,
We are protesting against the incompetent refereeing of Tony Archer in the Sharks v Panthers game in Round 11, Saturday May 25th 2002. It is painstakingly obvious that Archer is in the wrong here, and his blatant incorrect calls cost Cronulla a win. The first of two mistakes was penalising Chris Beattie for a supposedly \'high\' shot, when there was nothing in it. This lead to a Penrith try and they trailed 22-20. Then the more blatant call when Gower chipped and the player he then passed it to was miles offside. All supporters are sick of Archer and we call on the NRL to sack this incompetent referee and compensate Cronulla.
