301 Clement BellI have been an Epscopalian since birth and i am deeply troubled by the current backlash against policies having to do with gay and lesbian Episcopalians.

308 Ray DuffAs a Kent resident, I strongly urge the Archbish' to stop appeasing the homophobes both in the UK and Worldwide (such as Akinola in Nigeria) and follow Archbish' Des Tutu (Sth Africa) and his call to stop worrying about it and deal with the real issues facing the world today- climate change, wars, HIV/AIDS, poverty etc. Further, the Archbish MUST denounce Christchurch Univ in canterbury and its civil partnership bans...
309 Jeremy C TimmHow many ministries must be maimed by the pressure to be dishonest, how many ministries are never excercised because people are excluded? I pray for a healthy open honest church which welcomes and fosters each others ministries

317 Louise KienastI am not an Anglican, but I do see the danger in remaining silent on such an issue. I urge you to speak out against the oppression of gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgendered. We may not all be born with the same sexual identities, but differences in our sexual identities does not have to seperate us as human beings. There are so many pressing issues that will take the cooperation of all beings, working together to create healthier societies so that those who come after us will be able to live joyfully in this world. Thank goodness for people like Dr. Desmond Tutu. More in the Anglican Communion should speak out. Thank you for giving me this opportunity.

323 Colin BlanchardI have before me a text by someone(?) as follows:- "In a church that accepts the legitimacy of contraception, the absolutecondemnation od same-sex relations of intimacy must rely either on an abstract fundamentalist deployment of a number of very ambiguousbiblicaltexts, or on a problematic and nonscriptual theory about natural complementarity, applied narrowly and crudely to physical differentiation without regard to psychological structures" Please don't 'sell us down the river' just to preserve the unity of the Anglican Church. The text by the way was written by you in an essay entitled "The Body's Grace" in a book by Charles Hefling (editor) - "Our Selves, Our Souls & Bodies"

329 Margaret LindseyScripture is being reinacted in the Church's current circle of exclusion of GLBT people, who are thought of as "unclean abominations" by some, second-class Christians by others. Just as the early church demanded that Gentile become Jews in order to be full members of the body of Christ, GLBT folks are expected to become straight in order to be full members. It didn't take Peter long to recognize that the "exclusionary" dictate that seemed so "scriptural" to Peter and the early church was not God's plan for the Church. Why are we taking so long to recognize that our exclusionary policies toward GLBT people have not originated in the heart of God?

347 Kelly FlowersI have friends and family members that are gay and I am in the Dallas diocese. Because of my love for these friends and family members and because my Bishop, and therefore the diocese, is decidedly anti gay I am unable to attend church here. That is what I have had to sacrifice and although it is a huge sacrifice as my spiritual wellbeing has suffered just imaging how marginalized someone who is not heterosexual feels within this diocese. It is NOT acceptable that our Church allows this. Simply. Not. Acceptable.
