Cai LarsenCaernarfonByddai colli'r ysgol hanesyddol hon yn hergwd sylweddol i bentref Llanystumdwy. Treuliais dair blynedd hapus iawn yn bennaeth ar y sefydliad yma, gan ddod i adnabod cymuned ddiddorol, bywiog a Chymreig.

Barry JonesTerminus St, Te Aroha, NZRwyf yn hen ddisgybl or ysgol ac nawr yn byw yn Seland Newydd. Ni fuaswn wedi cael gradd BA na swydd proffesiynol dramor heb amynedd Mr Jones a Mrs Tomos blynyddoedd yn ol yn yr ysgol. Mi fuasai LLoyd George yn troi yn ei fedd!!!!

Tomos ParriCaerdyddMae mor bwysig cadw ysgolion fel Llanystumdwy ar agor. Hebddynt, nid oes dyfodol i'n plant fel siaradwyr Cymraeg. Nid yw'n rhy hwyr i'r Cynghorwyr arbed yr ysgolion - os rhywbeth, byddai gwrando ar y bobl yn dangos eu fod yn ein gwerthfawrogi fel unigolion a byddent yn ennill parch mawr am hynny.

Glenys DaviesTrysor, Pencaenewydd, Pwllheli, Gwynedd. Ll53 6RBIt is an insult that the Council are even considering closing Llanystumdwy school. I have two children at the school, one in year 6 and one in year 3 so I can speak from experience. The school has a happy and homely atmosphere as was stated by Estyn when they inspected the school in Dec 2005 and the children thrive in such a happy atmosphere. I will always feel privileged and grateful that my children have attended such an excellent school The Headteacher treats every child exactly the same and at the same time makes every child feel special and respected.
RIGBY B D6 North Penrallt Caernarfon LL55 1PPAs former Liberal leader of St.Albans DC and a former pupil of Ysgol Friars (Bangor) I strongly object to the loss of this historic school to the community and to the nation of Wales....to it past ande to its future !

Robert BanksLondonI visited Llanystumdwy last week and saw your campaign highlighted in people's windows. I wish your campaign the very best of luck and I hope the council will change it's mind over the future of the school.
AnonymousAnonymousIt would be a huge mistake to close this school, as the knock-on effect on the rest of the community would be extremely detrimental. Schools, especially in small villages act as generators of comunnity spirit. I am told enrollment is rising. I always find it diffcult to accept closures such as this "save money" - what they tend to do is shift budgets, which is not the same thing at all. High high will the cost be in extra travel? extra carbon footprint? in people no longer moving to or staying in the vilalge because of the lack of school? of extra crime because of a lack of community spirit? of the need for extra community funding because the natural centre of the cmmunity is closed? It is a false economy.

Christie ColhounGracehill, BallymenaI have been visiting Llanystumdwy since 1982. This wonderful village would not be the same without its school. The museum is a treasure and the school needs to thrive, not just for the visitors who can make all the DLG connections but also for the children in the village and surrounding area.
