156 W.M.BarrittBridgnorthAs chairman of the Lloyd George Society I am very concerned to hear that the school thay he attended might be closed endangering the connection with the area of the great man. Surely there must be some local pride at this connection and an educational value in keeping alive in the school and its pupils the achievements of one of their predecessors if only as an example of what they themselves might achieve. .

164 Graham Lippiatt114 Worcester Lane, Sutton Coldfield, B75 5NJAlthough I am not a resident of the area served by Llanystumdwy School, I am a member of the Lloyd George Society and feel it would be a serious mistake to cut this specific tie between the most eminent Welshman of the 20th century and the community in which he grew up.

167 Angela Hugheshallow worcesterAlthough i do not live in the village any more. I do feel the closure of the school would be a great loss for such a close knit community! Who will want to bring up children in a village where there isn't a school. This school was my primary school and played a vital part in my learning! Not only will the closure affect the children who attend the school now it will also affect the children of the future. I am also sure it will affect the people who attended the school as youngsters as I'm sure they have very fond memories. so please save our school!!

182 Valerie Rose53 Ellington Rd Ramsgate KentAs with every child, parents, family & friends want thre best possible schooling for their children. Llanystumdwy school may not be as modern as others but, it gives an excellant grounding for all the chridren who attend the school.Pupils flourish under the teaching staff there and with all the connected activities not only in school but in the villiage. We currnently have two granddaughters attending the school and thoroughly enjoy Grandparents day , to which we are invited, where we are shown a variety of activities by the children not only at school but in the villiage hall. To loose this school will be a great blow and a dis-service, not only to the chrildren of the villiage but also children from the surrounding areas where parents bring their children to study with the Llanastumdwy children, because they believe, as we do, that it is the best possible school for them to be. Please,Please help to keep the school open. Thank you.
