The Avon Peninsula Watershed Preservation Society wants want all government representatives to keep and reaffirm the status of the Avon Peninsula land which is zoned prime agricultural; we request the Province of Nova Scotia to reject the foreign-controlled proposal to extract gypsum by blasting and strip mining the Peninsula; and, we urge all politicians to protect our options for a locally-controlled future
