The April Village/Lakeside Place HOA would like your response regarding installing pavers at the Briar Forest-Woodland Springs intersection.  After the City of Houston resurfaced Briar Forest, there was no longer a seperation between the road surface and the curb.  As a result, vehicles were running over the nose of the esplanade.  The damage to the pavers required continual repair.  The HOA Board elected to remove the pavers until such time as the curb is restored.

Some pedestrians cross at Woodland Springs although the designated (traffic controlled)  crosswalk is at Woodland Park. If the April Village/Lakeside Place Members would like the pavers re-installed, the Board will request a bids for the project.  A permit from the City of Houston is also required.
