APPEAL To

HONOURABLE PRESIDENT OF INDIA

1. My Son, a Pilot, is grounded since Aug 2013 from Flying Duties & denied promotion to PIC status on his turn. He was subject to harassment by Air India Management pilots just because of caste prejudice mindset for demanding reservation in promotion as per existing DOPT & DPE guidelines and for RTI’s against Biased Practices of promotion and training meant for wards of senior pilots which leads to corruption in the system.

2. Top echelons of Air India management and pilots are harassing him mentally, financially and professionally for raising his voice against corrupt system with a common interest to suppress his voice.

3. Two successive GM (OPS In charge) targeted him in a caste prejudice mindset to teach him a lesson for filing RTI’s and going against the system.

4. Shri Rohit Nandan, CMD, Air India did not heard his plea against harassment since March 2013 on ground of being a schedule caste pilot.

5. No inquiry panel is constituted against the serious charges of biased practices and caste atrocities in Air India.

6. Sh. Bimal Kumar, APS to Sh. Ajit Singh, MCA, shows extreme displeasure to my son for going against the system and representing to MCA. He praised GM (OPS In charge) for grounding him from flying duties on account of filing RTI’s. It proves the behavior of MCA staff towards the marginalized section and I will not be wrong if it is a mirror image of present Caste System. Instead of any resolution to his grievances he was warned against representing to MCA.

I am not an influential person. My son is true to his principals. In Air India Huge financial benefits are randomly distributed. Some pilots who are near relatives of influential politicians and close to management pilots are supporting them. Through this letter I would appeal to all Kind Hearted Higher Authorities, Media Personals and Fellow Citizens to force Air India Management for an affirmative action on social justice defeated by hidden agendas and individuals with vested interests. I would also appeal to Hon’ble President & Hon’ble Prime Minister of INDIA for an early resolution of his grievances as this is taking a heavy toll on personal and professional life of an ordinary Citizen like you and me.
